Merry Christmas. You guys look great…even if you may not feel it all the time. What a beautiful family. Hang in there. We are all in this together and we do understand. One day is great and then the next is the exact opposite. It does get better. We are approaching 5 months home and with the bussle of the holidays I have seen a little bit of regression. Overall, we are lightyears from where we were upon arriving home.
You are in our thoughts and prayers. If I can ever help in some other way than prayers, please let me know.
We too are going to be adopting an older child from ET and I’ve been following you blog with great interest. Thanks for your honesty in the struggles you’ve had, it will help us be prepared. It’s wonderful to see this Christmas photo of your family. BEAUTIFUL!!! The best is yet to come. You have been and will continue to be in my prayers.
Blessings to you and your family,
Christa
What a beautiful picture!! Your honesty is both heartbreaking and heartwarming – hopefully this adjustment period will be a distant memory at this time next year.
Happy New Year from the Beynon family.
This is such a beautiful card of your BEAUTIFUL family!!!!!!! Praying the transition continues to steadily get easier. We had so many of the same issues when we brought our daughter home from Guatemala so I know being honest with people is extremely hard. You are helping so many by doing so though!
Absolutely adore your picture! My husband and I are in the beginning stages of adopting from Ethiopia and I do not have a mental picture of how our family will look in the future (we are adopting before trying for biologicals). Your picture just gave me much insight! Your family portray’s such a peace, does not look like you just arrived home. Congratulations!
